The Florida Dept. of Divsions has been investigating a list of about 2700 registered voters and over 50,000 "dead people" to determine if the records are good, bad and the voter is alive and eligible.
Additionally, people have challenged Obama's eligibility to be on the Florida ballot.
And, the liberals have filed suit to overturn the Florida Voter Reform Act which established better procedures over how voter registrations are processed.
So, below is new news on all those issues...
A. Florida Judge Removed Time Deadline for Voter Registration Groups to turn in new Registration Forms
So, the new FloridaWatchdog.org website tells us that Northern District Florida Judge, Robert Hinkle, and the liberals want to reduce restrictions that might prevent Florida Voter fraud. This judge ruled that a portion of Flrodia's voter reform bill be struck down.
" Of all the reforms the Legislature enacted last term, the only one to feel the judge’s gavel was the provision requiring a 48-hour window for voter-registration drives.
All the rest, including voter identification requirements, the reduction of early voting hours and stricter protocols for obtaining absentee ballots, were left intact."
Without the 48-hour time deadline to turn in registrations, these liberal groups can sit on the registration forms until the last minute, then turn them in so the Elections departments can't cope, and don't review them adequately for proper voter eligibility criteria. That is why the time limit exists in the Voter Reform law and without it, many bogus voter registrations and votes were filed around the country. Think Al Franken...
No word whether this will be appealed...

B. A DIFFERENT Florida Judge Sets Date for Court Hearing on Obama's Ballot Eligibility
The hearing will be in Leon County (Tallahassee area) on Monday, June 18 at 9am. Set your calendar and see if videos are streamed. FiscalRangers will provide updates on this important case. This is the Judge that decided that Bush won his first election against Al Gore.
Keep in mind that Sheriff Joe Arpaio has published a lot of evidence on this issue, and if that isn't enough, even Donald Trump questions Obama's eligibility to be on the ballot.
C. US Attorney General, Eric Holder's "Voting Office" sends letter to Florida Division of Elections to stop investigating voter eligibility from list developed using computer matching techniques.
So, Holder continues the liberal line to reduce effectiveness of procedures to ensure fair an proper votes by trying to prevent investigations of voter eligibility.

D. BUT, today the Florida Division of Elections head says that Florida is "Considering a Response" but could tell Eric Holder's staff to pound sand (our term) over their request to stop voter eligibily investigations.
If the Divsion of Elections head, Ken Detzner is backed by Gov. Scott, and decides to defy Holder's request, it means it might go to court.

Here is the original source article, as updated, from Reuters:

Note: The original post, based upon a Reuters article, said that Florida WAS going to defy Holder, but then it was amended to say Florida was "considering a response". If Florida does defy Holder, then this quote might apply from my source blog, PJmedia.com:
"Will Florida stand fast, or cave in? Florida has a winning case here.
Firstly, the statutes allowing the purge have already been precleared. DOJ will have to climb onto the far limbs of Presley vs. Etowah County in claiming the way Florida conducted the foreign voter purge must be submitted to DOJ for approval.
Second, if Section 5 allows the Attorney General to stop states from ensuring that citizens of foreign countries don’t vote for President, I doubt Holder will find much support on the Supreme Court.
Third, if Florida stands fast, expect wide popular support against an unpopular Attorney General, but only if Floridians call their Secretary of State and support him. Also expect citizens groups to intervene on behalf of Florida and election integrity."
E. ACORN Lives! After the voting fraud scandals in prior elections, ACORN shut down, but has been replaced by many separate groups, including Organize Now in Orlando, FL - Here is a JudicialWatch.org Report:
The above is a synopsis article, with links to the full report. It says that Florida has some of the ACORN replacement organizations.
Do NOT used the link in the article for the report - it goes to Scribd, a third party service which you have to login to (which gives them your personal info). Instead, I found the direct link, which is here - download and read it.

Here is what they say about ACORN replacement organizations in Florida:
An ACORN spinoff group in Orlando is named Organize Now, which has both a website and large Facebook page.
