You need to watch this Lake County State of County video.
Earlier last week, the Lake County, FL Board had their annual meeting to present some awards and a video on "State of the County". Not many people knew about it because it was not listed on the Board's Meeting Agenda webpage or on the Lake County Meetings Calendar. I was told there were meeting notices in both local papers, but I did not see them. I only knew about it from reading a press release sent out 203 weeks earlier.
Award plaques were given to outgoing Commissioner Jennifer Hill, and 2012 Lake County Woman of the Year, Dr. Gwen McLin. (Pictures by Kelly LaFollette).
If you are concerned about Lake County and what is happening in economic development and other activities under the control of the Lake County Board, you should watch this video. It gives a very good idea of what has improved in Lake County, and every Realtor and Builder should watch it.
As I watched it, I was constantly thinking "Yup, they did that".
