The Projects and Investigations Team is looking for a reporter to produce signature investigative stories that uncover wrongdoing, corruption and financial shenanigans; afflict the comfortable and comfort the afflicted; and break big news. This job will be located in New York City.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience working tirelessly and independently, whether covering a beat, company or market, and the ability to dig beneath the surface, using documents, clever sourcing and common sense to excavate the facts.
• Experience investigating finance and financial institutions preferred.
• Writing skills to convert raw, undigested material into compelling prose that will move readers and, when appropriate, spur reform.
