This is an update on Agenda 21 news related to Florida and Lake County, Florida. Includes a link to a new video of Agenda 21 expert Karen Schoen on how the United Nations derived and Bill Clinton funded Agenda 21 assaults property rights & owners and a bit about the Lake County Comprehensive Land Use Plan. Basically, Agenda 21 uses the cover story of environmental problems to reduce Constitutional freedoms and property rights in the US so big government can gain control. It is all documented and a 50 year "stealth" plan. Read this and watch the videos to learn how to take action now.
Fast Overview of Agenda 21:
It is a program and 400 page plan created by the United Nations in 1992. It was funded in the US by President Bill Clinton in 1993. It basically uses the issue of environmentalism as a cover story to inflict socialist derived damage on property rights, reduce Constitution defined freedoms, and distorts land planning and uses in the US. - Win for Lake County Property Rights advocates: A proposed "South Lake Sector Plan" was following the typical Agenda 21 path of manipulated visioning sessions, environmentalist defined restrictions, defining high density villages and excess conservation ares, and picking winners and losers out of property owners. However, that all changed when two Agenda 21 aware County Commissioners and the County planning office took control and completely reversed most of the bad restrictions. Watch for my future article on it.
- South Florida's Seven 50 plan using regionalism, no elected leaders and plans to build 20 foot seawalls in 7 counties may have been derailed. It appears at least four counties have pulled out of the 7-county consortium, according to Karen Schoen in the above video. More details later. HERE is a November, 2013 article from Rosa Koire, an anti-Agenda 21 leader in California, about her visit to St. Lucie County, FL and their succesful demonstrations against seven50. Since then, other counties dumped seven50. Here is the actual St. Lucie County board meeting where they voted 4-1 to opt OUT of the seven50 plan.
- Unfortunately, Agenda 21 environmentalists in Lake & nearby counties did get a WIN in North East Lake County regarding the Wekiva Parkway. They got to the planning people and Florida State and demanded the new Parkway loop connecting I4 and HWY 429 be RAISED so critters could go under bridges. That is REALLY expensive. They also demanded and got the Florida Dept. of Transportation to CLOSE a local highway 46 to eliminate through traffic in order to allow a critter corridor. That will cut off easy access to North Orlando for hundreds of residents. This is an example why locals and homeowners need to attend future oriented planning sessions to prevent these type of environmental boondoggles. Here is OUR video of Lake County Commissioner Leslie Campione explaining the Wekiva River project and how they ended up with a expensive raised parkway due to environmentalist actions.
- Lake County has a Comprehensive Land Use plan with many Agenda 21 type restrictions. In the last 4 years, the new Board (after voters threw out two diehard environmentalists) reversed or removed some items. You can see the 2011 Amendments on the above linked page. Additionally, there are other restrictions but the County is not enforcing them, according to one County Commissioner.
