Early warning...
This is an apparent new liberal ploy, since US History is not part of Common
Core. Instead, the CC founders are manipulating the Advanced Placement
tests for US History courses to possibly focus on liberal viewpoints.
Thus, I would assume new History books from liberal publishers will be
required to fit the new tests.
The architect of implementing Common Core is David Coleman, who led the
development of Common Core under everyone's nose.
Coleman is the president of the College Board, the organization responsible
for the SAT college entrance exam and the various Advanced Placement exams.
"The College Board, the company that issues the SAT and the
various Advanced Placement (AP) exams, has created an elaborate new
framework for the AP U.S. History Exam that will effectively force nearly
all American high schools, public and private, to transform the way they
teach U.S. History."
He is apparently avoiding public review of newly revised sample Advanced
Placement (AP) tests for US History.
So, although there is no US History component in the Common Core curriculum,
if he controls the AP test and it is aimed at political indoctrination, it
will result in classes being taught to fit the test, according to this
Breitbart.com article.

may be too late if Coleman isn't stopped.

devastatingly effective effort to replace the teaching of traditional
American history in our high schools with a new, centrally-controlled, and
sharply left-leaning curriculum."
I will check with the Florida Ed Dept policy staff and the local Lake County
School District. If anyone on the LCSD staff wants to reply to this, please
let me know.
