A new study in just 28 states (not Florida) indicates 6.9-million voters
are registered in more than one state. Now will you consider voter fraud a
serious issue and demand voter ID's PLUS crosschecks with other state voter
records?
http://watchdog.org/156197/multiple-voters-crosscheck/
Note: This study did NOT cover Florida. We need to ask our Lake County Elections Supervisor, Emogene Stegall, what
she has done in Lake County to prevent such people from double voting here
when they are still registered in another state. (Note, the study did not
cover Florida, but did compare voting records in 28 (TWENTY EIGHT) other
states to find the 6.9-million duplicated voters.)
The last time I asked Emogene about this, she told me that the Florida State
elections department has no agreement to share or match voter id information
with voters registered in other states and she does nothing to detect
multi-state voters.
I did talk to Emogene Stegal, Lake County Elections Supervisor, and she says
there is no method in Florida to detect out of state duplicate voters. If
they turn in their driver's license from another state to get a Florida
driver's license, the DMV is supposed to notify the other state the driver's
license was replaced, but the other state may not act to remove them from
THEIR voting roles.
Apparently, state Elections Departments do NOT exchange information
themselves, but rely on the DMV departments to notify respective state
Elections Departments. Thus you could have students or snowbirds or
migrants who still have voting rights in more than one state, and if they do
NOT required a voter ID like a Driver's license, there is no way to
determine they no longer are a resident in the state or authorized voter.
Thus government fails again at ensuring voters only can vote in one state at
a time. And, your local Elections Supt. appears to have no process to
detect duplicate voters due to lack of coordination by State Education
departments.
