FYI – a movement is growing to hold school administrations responsible for providing Islam based assignments to students in violation of Church vs State regulations.
Many K-12 books have been rewritten to provide Islam information without balanced details on Christianity or Judaism, or citing all the well known negative practices of Islam. It is commonly known that Saudi Arabia paid book publishers to modify books to provide one sided views of Islam.
Note: The picture is from a different incident where Islam focused statements were used in an ENGLISH assignment.
Example of Muslim Indoctrination in US Schools:
A NY parent, and founder of the Facebook Group "Choose to Refuse Common Core" found her son was being given homework assignments that appeared to be proslytyzing for Islam. She and her son are Jewish and asked why this could be done when there is supposed to be separate of Church & State. The school said he had to do the assignment. So she contacted an attorney, who sent this letter to the School Administrators (in NY):

Dear Ms. Poppe:
Please be advised that I am the attorney for Mr. and Mrs. Alan Cohen, the parents of Adam Cohen, a student in your school. I have been advised that Adam will be penalized if he does not submit the assignments on Islam.
I am hereby requesting that you reconsider your decision to penalize Adam. The Islam assignments are a violation of separation of church and state under the United States Constitution.
Public schools are supposed to be religion neutral. Instead, the Islam assignments are proselytizing.
Adam is from a Jewish family. The assignments on Islam violate his rights and consequently, he cannot participate in same as a matter of conscience.
Furthermore, you are aware that Adam is a special needs child who becomes agitated when confronted or threatened. His exposure to Islam teachings affects his emotional and physical well-being. He therefore, ought not to participate in same – nor be penalized for said assignments.
I would appreciate your contacting me at your earliest opportunity and I suggest swift action is taken to assure that Adam is not damaged by the teachings our school is espousing.
