Two Lake County Penny Sales tax renewal debates scheduled this week - one TONIGHT in Mt. Dora (tonight) , and one this Saturday, Oct. 3 in Leesburg

Lake County voters will be asked to vote on Nov. 3 "For" or "Against" the renewal of an $800-million, fifteen year one penny sales tax that goes to the County, Schools, and Cities for Capital spending. This tax has existed for 30years, and the renewal will give it another 15 years life. German Town tells Schoolgirls to "Cover Up" so as not to upset Muslims

Tavares, FL Sept 27, 2015 A German town is telling school age girls to "cover up" so as not to upset Muslim refugees located next to their school. Will this happen in the US and Lake County, FL? One problem with allowing Muslim refugees or immigrants into a town ( or like Lake County) is their fundamentalist "culture" will cause conflicts with American culture. In this article, a German town told all the schools to forbid girls from wearing revealing clothes or bare arms due to refugees being located nearby. They expect conflict like is happening in the UK and other locations in Europe where a small number of Muslims can disrupt communities by demanding accomodations to THEIR culture. Muslims move to other countries but usually refuse to adapt to the local country culture. An example is demanding that women be completely covered up. Clermont 912 & Lake County Republicans host panel debate in Clermont tonight on pros and cons of the Nov. 3 ballot referendum to renew the $600-million "penny sales tax" for another 15 years. FR

I will be one of the panelists on the "Against" side. The opponents do not object to taxes, but we do object to a tax without any reasonable limitations on the spending, no limits on excess debt using bonds, and providing a $600-million slush fund to County Board members Jimmy Conner, Welton Cadwell and Sean Parks who raised property taxes last year by 14% and did not roll them back in this year's proposed budget. Refugee Update: New BBC article explaining why Arabic Gulf States don't want Syrian refugees, while Obama separately lets 70,000 unscreened Muslims refugees (not Christians) into US B3

Europe is being inundated with Syrian refugees and Obama is letting in 70,000 per year (from other Muslim countries also) while Christian refugees are not allowed by the UN or the US State Dept. But the Gulf Arabic countries are not taking a "fair share" or ANY of the Arabic Syrian refugees. The Arabic Gulf States (Saudi Arabia, etc) also don't want to "dilute" their "demographic balance" or culture with Arabs from other areas. (But Obama doesn't mind if that happens in the US as Muslims arrive and try to implement Sharia law). "The world has had to find other solutions to cope with this mass population movement, as Syrians tired of war and of languishing in camps with little hope of social or financial betterment have begun to leave the conflict zone in search of a more secure and prosperous future.
