Lake County schools keep marching down the Bill Gates grant initiated "personalized learning" method, but here is a year old opinion clearly explaining the data collection dangers and mind manipulation used in the process due to requirements for testing by computers.
Read and understand how your kids are being tracked with data points while the schools will tell you they are not collecting data on the kids. Think in terms of a credit rating bureau reading all your emails to gage your future decisions.
In my opinion, so many teachers, school board members and administrators are oblivious to how data can be collected that they ignore the issue. The data collected can later be used to determine future classes, jobs, etc.
Ignorance is bliss, so if parents don't speak up, it will continue.
