Don't miss it starting at 9pm. Avoid all the ads and talking heads by watching it on CSPAN on cable or over the internet. 2. Tuesday evening the Republican Party of Lake County is hosting a forum at 6pm to discuss the upcoming Nov. 8 ballot issue to approve or reject the TEN YEAR renewal of the 1 mill North Lake County Hospital District tax which collects about $10-million a year to subsidize indigent care at both Leesburg and Waternan Hospitals and five clinics. This is the first time in FORTY years that all North Lake taxpayers were allowed to vote on this thanks to a local law change by FL Rep. Larry Metz. The forum will allow the CEO's of the two hospitals to discuss the ballot issue vs Rep. Larry Metz and REC Board member Mark Fisher. Source: Right Side of the Lake Blog, Leesburg, FL This is a great illustration of the importance of transparency and ability for requesting public records and emails of elected officials. However, Ritchie IS a “Columnist” entitled to a bias, just like the Right Side of the Lake, or this blog, but we just don’t always know what Lauren’s bias is. Columnists are not journalists. However, bias does creep into stories posing as “journalism” or “news”.For instance, the Orlando Sentinel AND the Daily Commercial constantly publish biased “Global warming” or “environment news” articles from the Associated Press as “news” on the front page, when they distort known facts about “global warming” and “climate change”. Conclusion:I think this is the pot calling the kettle black. Lake County School District's Self-Inflicted Money Woes This article about Lake County School District impact fees is from a blog run by Don Magruder, who runs Romac Lumber in Leesburg. So they and their customers would benefit from reduced impact fees. However, many points are correct, but notice that this article provides no solutions to offset any reductions in impact fees. And, yes, the School District is inefficient, doesn’t track production measurements like a business would, so they make arbitrary decisions without measuring always reporting the true results later on. They also suffer with limited sources of income to build schools. But, they ARE required to provide space for new students from growth, and impact fees is a way to do that. What do you think? Muslim immigrant deported from UK screams "We will die" on airline for two hour trip to Italy

Sept. 11, 2011 Another reason to halt inbound Muslims refugees and immigrants. The UK deports them on "budget" airlines, and this one screamed "We will die" and other threats on the airline for two hours flying from the UK to Italy. These people do not belong in a civilized society. I am tired of these constant anti-social behaviors. Consumer News: Wells Fargo customers beware - over 2-million phony accounts were created by employees

Tavares, FL Sept. 8, 2016 Are you a Wells Fargo banking customer? Apparently, many bank employees increased their sales numbers by creating over 2-million fake accounts in customer names to make sales look better, and in some cases customers were billed for bounced checks due to moves of their funds to the fake accounts. Over 5300 employees were fired over recent years for doing this after creating two MILLION phony accounts. The case was uncovered by the City of Los Angeles Attorney's office, and fines were $185-million. So if you are a Wells Fargo customer, check to make sure you were not a victim where bogus credit card accounts, etc were setup in your name, or you were billed for bounced checks due to the employee shifting some of your funds to a fake account. Read this CNN report. Apparently, Wells Fargo must have put high pressure on employees to "make their numbers" and they created fake accounts to do so. Tavares, FL Sept. 1, 2016 MY US Congressman, Dan Webster, was just re-elected in the Aug. 30 Florida primaries into a newly drawn 11th District. Here is what I sent him regarding Refugee Resettlement programs: Congressman Webster, Congratulations on winning your election. Obama is planning to make a speech at a Sept. 20 meeting of the United Nations where he will announce a plan to request that Congress fund the importation of TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND REFUGEES starting in the Federal fiscal year beginning Oct. 1. HERE is the article providing an overview of Obama’s overreach, and here is a link to the letter sent to him by 40 NGO’s requesting that he double this year’s plan of 100,000 refugees to 200,000. The NGO’s are all salivating at getting double the income for handling the refugees. The article also explains that Congress then will be asked to fund the increase in Refugees. Instead, Congress should DENY ALL FUNDING for refugees since the FBI says the ones from Syria cannot be vetted.
