Jan. 18, 2017 Tavares City Council Meeting where retiring City Clerk Nancy Barnett is honored.

Hey, that's blogger Vance Jochim pointing where a new Hooter's should be located in Tavares.

Jan. 19, 2017 “Takeoff Meeting” where an overview of City Planning is presented, then a new beautification program, followed by a citizen input session where citizens collect ideas on what should be done to improve downtown Tavares over the next 10 years. This is the first of four events, with the second being a workshop on Jan. 26 where you can drop by City Hall anytime between 10 am and 5pm to see updated maps and lists of the discussion on this video tape.
