Attention Congressmen Daniel Webster, Jim Jordan, Ron DeSantis, Tim Ryan, etc
Project Veritas uncovered on video a FEDERAL GAO Auditor and card-carrying member of the Democrat Socialists of America (DSA) admitting he works to destroy capitalism using work time.
As a former Internal Audit manager, this angers me to no end. GAO Auditors work for CONGRESS and are not subject to the Hatch ACT and this guy states he can do it because he can't be fired.
WATCH this video, then call your Congressman and ask how their own GAO can operate this way. How can people like this get into the Federal government, lie on their accountability forms as he describes, and then do political work during work time? This needs to be a full blown Congressional investigation.
I posted a long comment to this Project Veritas video, so read the comments also.

Note: After posting this, I submitted a request on the same day for the GAO to be investigated by the US House Committee on Oversight & Reform, currently chaired by Trey Gowdy. My submittal is below:

Today, Sept. 20, 2018, James O'Keefe of Project Veritas published a second "Deep State" undercover video about a GAO Auditor who brags about working 10-20 hours per week during work time on DSA (Democrat Socialists of America) projects to fight Capitalism.
As a retired Fortune 500 and big government internal audit manager and anti-corruption manager in Iraq (2004-2006 for DoD and State), this undercover video inflames me no end. READ my comments and other comments posted under the video after you watch the video. I have been writing a fiscal watchdog blog in Lake County, FL for 12 years on local government and I know government and auditing. I was on the Embassy Baghdad anti-corruption committee for the Iraq Reconstruction program and saw how the liberal State Dept. would not take action to reduce corruption in the Iraqi government ( You should read the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction reports - I did not work on them, but actually proofed some on behalf of the Ambassador for factual issues.)
You need to launch an immediate ethics and payroll fraud (he was working on outside interests) investigation into why this is happening in our Federal government. Don't let it fail like the Benghazi hearings.
It came out that GAO staff are not covered by the Hatch Act. (WHY?)
The GAO guy brags about filling out annual accountability forms in such vague detail, no one would know he was in the DSA. Why was there no oversight on the form details or follow up?
He also claims most co-workers know he is working on DSA work. THEY ALL SHOULD BE FIRED ON ETHICS VIOLATIONS FOR NOT REPORTING HIM.
I request you schedule an investigation of the apparent "deep state" within GAO. I always had respect for them and their reports, but no longer. How can we rely on them to be objective or timely when people like this are employees there?
Based upon my deep knowledge of internal auditing, I volunteer to be interviewed by your committee and can provide many examples of how such political bias can cause harm to US Security, efficiency and reported audit results. I now would question any GAO audit and whether it was full of bias against conservative parties, vendors, etc. I would investigate and find all DSA members in the GAO and then review the results and timeliness of audits they worked on. I would investigate any Federal payments to those employees that were partly spent on political activities. The GAO auditor said he worked from home, which means he probably got expense payments for phone, etc. A portion of that cost was received for illegal purposes and should be reclaimed.
Do NOT let this go. It is time Congress stands up to the many violations committed by this auditor and ask why GAO, of all agencies, could let it happen. (Note - it is not clear whether the person was a REAL auditor, or someone doing contract reviews, etc.
PS: Around 2008, as an example of my internal audit subject matter expertise, I provided evidence to the US Army Inspector General about how hundreds of millions of dollars of purchases for the $22-billion Iraq Reconstruction Program was mis-managed by the Army, resulting in hundreds of pages of items being stored in warehouses in Baghdad because the Army screwed up the process of ensuring accuracy over who ordered it and where it should be delivered. They then paid the US vendors EARLY due to the prompt payment act without ensuring the items had even been shipped yet or delivered to the ordering parties. The IG report was written in vague terms to cover up how badly the Army had managed procurement in Iraq. I am not an amateur at this. It is described in my draft ebook at:

Ok, I proofed this twice, but as a retired internal audit professional, I am so angry at the GAO, I want to send it to you now.
PLEASE have a full investigation on how anti-Americans like this guy can be hired, and continue to work like he describes without oversight by the GAO OR Congress???
I live in Lake County, FL near Orlando. Call anytime. Note: I also contacted other committee members via Twitter and my Congressman Daniel Webster, but he is not on any oversight committees. Since Ron DeSantis resigned to run for FL Governor, I could not contact him.
