According to one political campaign email firm, YES! They performed a study of whether emails from Republican and Democrat political candidates were sidelined into spam folders, and they found 100% of emails for Rick Scott and selected Republicans sent to Yahoo or AOL customers went into spam accounts while 0% of Bill Nelson's emails went to spam. Gmail had much lower spam rates but still 10% for Rick Scott and 0% for Bill Nelson. They tried to test Outlook, but Outlook deletes emails in spam after 30 days, and that date had passed by the time they did the study.
They also said Dems sent FOUR times the emails that Republicans sent.
I personally have found my blog emails on conservative topics being blacklisted on Earthlink, AOL, and two other phone companies. I also found they rejected the emails without any method to appeal the rejections. That is one reason why I don't email blog readers much.
READ this article at the link above. If you have contacts with Republicans at the Senior level, notify them of this study.
And, check YOUR spam folder to see what is there.
