The Florida Governor appoints members to many local and statewide Boards & Commissions. (Note: See update below added Mar. 30, 2019).
We support new Governor Ron DeSantis and prior Governor, now Florida Senator, Rick Scott, but the process used for locating existing and vacant appointment positions is a mess, with little transparency and convoluted procedures to even FIND open positions.
So, we made a 44 minute expose video of the current Florida Governor's Appointments process with running comments on what needs to be fixed.

How can the Governor or State expect good applicants for appointments when the process is a mess and hard to deal with?
It almost seems like it was developed by Democrats when Charlie Crist was in office so only they knew how to use it, excluding non-insiders from knowing how the system works.
UPDATE March 30, 2019: We found an article HERE where Gov. Ron DeSantis retracted over 200 appointments made by prior Gov. Rick Scott. It includes a full list of all the retractions. "With the 169 names retracted Friday and those appointments pulled back in January, DeSantis has now yanked 215 of Scott’s prior appointments. With this move, DeSantis effectively blocked every appointment Scott issued on his way out the door—and then some."
