Here is information about how the founder of Common Core, David Coleman, who is now CEO of the College Board, is modifying SAT exams to push liberal candidates such as Bernie Sanders as described below. Just another reason why the Florida standards and SAT exam content (and AP courses, also run by the College Board) need purging of Common Core elements. School districts need to find alternatives to the liberal biased AP courses and SAT exams. Otherwise parents may use this as a reason to shift students to non-public schools. Are K-12 Schools Indoctrinating African American students into liberal victimology?

Watch this 2017 video by conservative Debbie Georgatos describing Candace Owens and her mantra to get all students to think for themselves and benefit from captitalism vs the Democrat mantra that African Americans are always victims. Then watch this April 2019 video where a liberal Congressman attacks Owens during Congressional hearings and her response. The point is that liberals do not support students thinking for themselves, but only following THE Democrat victimology narrative. Are schools, including Lake County schools, teaching ALL students to think objectively for themselves, or are they indoctrinating students in Democrat groupthink? Are students using liberal embedded textbooks and lessons or learning the evils of socialism vs "benefits" or just being indoctrinated to think that is the only good choice? Lake County schools need a strong mission statement emphasizing no one political or religious doctrine will be taught to students, and they will learn both sides of issues to think for themselves. And, perhaps a class trip to Venezuela might help before any trips to New York or Washington DC. The Florida Fish & Wildlife Commission (FWC) held a public meeting on April 2, 2019, in Tavares, FL for citizens to "vote" on areas to receive priority treatment to control Hydrilla in the Harris Chain of Lakes in Lake County, FL. Clermont, FL City Council votes to spend taxpayer funds to appeal a legal decision they lost.

The Clermont City Council lost a legal action to allow a charter school to build on a five acre lot with terrible traffic issues and neighbor complaints. Neither city staff or the Lake County School District wanted the project approved. Now the City attorney convinced the clearly vague Council to approve an expensive appeal of the legal decision. Neighbor opposition leader Dani Page made a video of that meeting which you can watch. The saga continues at taxpayer expense. Read more →
