News about Governor DeSantis's Efforts to Reverse Common Core in Schools

A major Florida group, the Florida Stop Common Core Coalition (on Facebook) has issued major expert recommendations on how to "Rid Florida of Common Core". The news release links to an executive summary and a more detailed 20 page list of recommendations. The big recommendation is to RESIST "tweaking" existing standards, and throw them out in favor of well recognized State standards used by leading state education programs before Common Core was implemented.
