We don't know, but we figure that if Lake County cities, the County and School District don't plan for such a crisis, taxpayers will be on the hook for not containing local government budgets. Recently, Mt. Dora laid off some workers, and Eustis postponed a planned referendum for a new Community Center. What is your local City Council or government doing NOW to survive in an era of falling sales taxes, property values, etc.? Ask them!
