Lake County, FL has no public law library when most other Florida counties have one

​ Most other Florida counties have a public LAW Library with REAL LAW books and a free online law database research terminal like Lexis-Nexis or Westlaw. 

 

But Lake County, FL does NOT have such a law library.

 

Lake used to have one in Tavares about 10 years ago, then moved it to Lake Sumter's Clermont campus, then defunded it, so there isn't even a LAW BOOK library in Lake County libraries.

 

It should be re-established and funded including an online FREE Lexis-Nexis or Westlaw type online research terminal in Tavares near the main courthouse. 

 

Here is the master list of all the other counties or cities that have public law libraries and Lake should have one.  (Note: Sumter is also missing from the list).

Tell your local Lake County, FL Board members, Court officials, Judges and BAR members to implement a new law library in DOWNTOWN Tavares where the actual courthouse is (not Clermont).
