Lake County, FL schools are pretty well run, but you never know when an alternative is needed to government-run schools such as when you are across the border in Orlando. Florida ranks #1 in a new Heritage Foundation Education Freedom Report Card report, announced at the Heritage Foundation launch event in Orlando on Sept. 9, 2022, which I attended. They announced state rankings in a new study to evaluate "Education Freedom" in all the states. It ended with a speech on Education reforms championed by FL Gov. Ron DeSantis.
