Hurray - JD Vance trounced Walz in the 2024 Vice Presidential Debate

Lake County, FL Republican Party passes resolution Censure of David & Mark Jordan

In June, 2024, Lake County, FL Tax Collector and his brother Mark Jordan, committed an underhanded dirty trick to fool incumbent and 2024 re-election candidate Lake County Property Appraiser Carey Baker into thinking he had no opponent, and at the last minute filed Mark Jordan for the position while Carey had filed as a write-in, thinking he had no opponent. This post includes the details and an approved resolution by the Lake County, FL Republican Party calling for Mark Jordan to drop from the race. In my opinion, David Jordan, who had no opponent, should also drop from his race and let the Governor appoint a new Tax Collector. Read more →
