Thankfully I read this. I was about to sign with them. Thanks for saving my time, energies and money.

I know what you mean. I stupidly paid the initial fee, then researched them, and it took two weeks to get a full refund because they had done no "work" yet.

Unfortunately, LinkedIn lets them market to naive people who get sucked in without doing adequate research. To be ethical, they should 1) Not charge fees except to the hiring party, 2) Not let anyone "join" without vetting their actual chances of success, and 3) Get rid of all the bogus "opportunities" they post. LinkedIn needs to investigate their methods and results.

I tried out the service for 3 months - only about 10 potential “opportunities”, of which only one even reviewed my response to their request...half of these were called “peer to peer”, and my guess is that those people had already left the site as they never even looked at my responses. I wasted a lot of
Time setting up a profile, talking to their so-called counselors (who were just resume jockeys putting in a resume into a website). They even provided me with “potential opportunities that they had chosen - all of which didn’t even hit my was clear they didn’t take the time to review my background)

Moreover, there was horrible customer service - called
To cancel and they decided they needed another month of my money, for a service that inferior and that’s a I was not going to use.
