Corporations are Passing More of Health Insurance Costs to Employees

So, who did the Democrat voters think would pay for THEIR health insurance when they voted for Obama and supported Obamacare? Well, the Wall St. Journal says now corporate employers are passing more of the cost increases on to employees, rather than split the cost increases. Now local, state and federal government agencies need to do the same. The day is over when government employees should get a higher subsidy for health insurance than employees of businesses. In the latest survey, 17% of workers at large firms had deductibles over $1,000, compared with 6% who paid that amount before their insurer started to pick up the bill in 2006. One of the drains on public funds that reduces funding for local government is Medicare fraud. South Florida is the home of Medicare Fraud, and it extends North. Orlando & Lake Tea Parties Protest Liberal News Bias at Three Orlando TV Stations

Conservative protesters were scheduled to demonstrate in front of more than 100 local network TV stations around the country today. They were protesting the liberal bias of the press and how they ignored the recent Tea party protest in Washington DC where over 1-million people showed up to protest the pending health care plan and continuous Federal spending by the Obama administration.You can get the story of the planned events HERE. So, today I went along with members of the North Lake County Tea Party to demonstrate in front of the ABC, CBS and NBC affiliates in Orlando. About 100+ people from many locations (even Jacksonville residents showed up) joined together to demonstrate at all three local Orlando TV stations. Here are SOME pictures. Alan Grayson Town Hall on Health Care was STACKED - Only 15 Conservatives admitted

Tavares, FL - US House Rep. Alan Grayson (Democrat) had his first Lake County Town Hall meeting last night in Tavares to mostly "get input" on the proposed Federal Health Care plans (aka Obamacare). So I cover that meeting below plus first a report on an earlier event the same day. Earlier, about 50 members of the North Lake County Tea Party who are against Obamacare "ambushed" Grayson at an earlier 5pm dinner at KiKu restaurant on the east side of Mount Dora. Apparently a Grayson supporter had organized the event for members of the Mt. Dora Chamber of Commerce, and sent out an invitation that appeared to be from Chamber officers, but it was not. One source told me that the invitation upset a lot of Chamber members, but the dinner was held, and about 30 people arrived at the parking lot to find 50 Tea Party members lining the streets with signs opposing Obamacare and other Grayson issues. While waiting for Grayson to appear, many cars going by honked in support of the group. Finally, Grayson appeared, waved to the tea party members and went into the restaurant. "Families at Risk" Report Discloses Number of Florida Residents without Health Insurance

A group called Families USA focuses on family health issues, and recently issued reports for every state showing the statistics for how many people were without health insurance. You can see the Florida statistics at the page below.
