Details on why Lake County Conservatives Need to Join the Lake County Historical Museum by Wednesday, April 24, 2019
We need conservatives to join the Society to keep them from taking over, voting down plans to install a soldier statue, and possibly decimating the Society because existing staff would probably quit.

We need conservative supporters of history and the society to join them by TOMORROW, Wednesday, April 24th by filling out the attached application form and attaching $15, and delivering it between 10am and 3pm on the 24th so it can be processed to determine all members eligible to vote on officers at an upcoming annual meeting on April 30th at 6pm. You would have to be at the meeting also to vote.
The Historical Museum does not have any ability to accept memberships online or other than personal delivery to the office at the Historical Courthouse next to the Round Tavares County building at 317 W. Main St., Tavares.
Note: Some conservatives may disagree on accepting the statue. However, by joining the Society, attending the April 30th election meeting, and voting to support the existing officers, they can prevent Democrats taking over the society. They can still vote to not accept the statue, but will prevent future historic revisions if the Democrats control the group.

If you go to the Daily Commercial and search on "Historical Museum" you can find various articles or search on Google and make your mind up if you want to stand up to the Democrats' takeover attempt. They are doing it purely to vote down the Society's plan to install a statue of a Confederate General they don't like.
