I am a retired MBA and Fortune 500 internal audit manager and information systems auditor with inactive certificates as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) and CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner).
I have an accounting BS, a journalism BA, and an MBA.
I have wide-ranging business experience and exposure from visiting many internal business departments in order to audit them.
I have written since I started and published the Business Banner student newsletter for business students at California State University, Northridge in the 1970's. I then picked up a Journalism degree and wrote everywhere I worked.
I also was a Certified Lotus Notes Developer for 8 years, creating Notes business process workflow applications for large firms like the Gap, IBM, Boeing, the Irvine Company, Edison Mission Energy and Fluor-Daniel.
I also was a personal computer power user starting with the Apple II, the PC, and while retired built my own personal computer.
In the past I was President of a 1200 PC user group in Orange County, CA as well as chair of a Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet group and a Lotus Notes professional developer group.
Upon retiring in central Florida in 2009, I created a fiscal watchdog blog covering local political and government issues which I still run at FiscalRangers.com, along with posts in a Facebook group.
